Happy Halloween Popettes! There truly is no other time of the year when we have such free reign when it comes to playing with makeup, as we do during Halloween! We created a world of fantasy and fun at The Edison in downtown LA, and I had to share some of the magic that took place with you! A little inspiration for all you Popettes that are still fishing for ideas! These are the POP products we are throwing in our net for a fabulous flip of mermaid inspiration!
Magical Mermaid!
1) Do your base and brow makeup the way you usually would with your favorite POP products.
2) Carefully thread a pair of fishnets across your face and secure them in place. Use a flat fluffy brush and dip into your preferred Pure Pigment. Dab the pigments over your forehead & cheekbones, continue with another hue of Pure Pigment and keep building until you achieve a holographic effect. Softly mist your face with Makeup Magnet Mist and let set. Finish off your gorgeous scales by dabbing a little Triple Glitter onto the highest point of your cheek bones and a little under your eyes, to mirror little drops of water.
3) Now, dust your pick of Pure Pigment over the eyelid, follow with dusting another hue Into the crease & blend well.
4) Wet a liner brush with Makeup Magnet Mist and dip into the white Pure Pigment, creating a dense, white liquid liner. Apply following the natural lash line & flick the line upwards & outwards at the outer corner of the eyes for a cat eye effect.
5) Finish by applying oodles of Lashy Flashy Mascara onto upper and lower lashes.
